SLOVENIAN ELECTRONIC VIGNETTE
As of February 1, 2022, only electronic vignettes are valid on Slovenian highways and expressways for vehicles up to 3.5 tons. Vehicles over 3.5 tons pay tolls based on distance traveled. To purchase an e-vignette, you must enter the correct vehicle registration number, country of registration, and toll class.

Additional Tolls
A one-time fee is charged when passing through the Karavanke tunnel between Austria and Slovenia. Vehicles up to 3.5 tons can pay this fee at the toll gate and it is 7.5 €. Conversely, vehicles exceeding 3.5 tons pay tolls through on-board units.
Monitoring
The Slovenian Highway Agency (DARS), Financial Administration, and police monitor e-vignette use with cameras and toll collection vehicles. Data is removed if no violations are found, but retained until resolution if rules are broken.
